This giant goof is a 4 year old lab mixed with something very large. At a whopping 92 pounds, Sampson is a gentle soul looking for a home to call his own. He came to us from the Fairbanks North Star Borough Animal Control after his previous owners had a life change that left them unable to provide for him.

Sampson is kennel trained, but may need reminders on potty training. He is very outgoing, friendly and affectionate with everyone he comes in contact with and loves car rides. He would do well with a family willing to work on basic manners with him. Do to his size, he has a naught habit of counter surfing and jumping when he gets excited. We also recommend that he be secured with a high fence or by a tie out if left outside unsupervised.

He would do well with a family willing to physically and mentally challenge his young mind to help him stay out of trouble. With proper introductions, Sampson does well with other dogs and is said to do well with kids and even cats. If you think this big boy is the right fit for your, please apply!
