Sweets, true to her name, is a beautiful girl who came to GRRF after her previous owners could no longer care for her. We suspect she is a golden lab mix at around 6 years old.

She does know basic tricks, and would do well in a home willing to work with her to enhance her skill set. Although a lady at her best, sometimes she just can’t resist jumping up to kiss you on the cheek. Sweets has yet to meet a stranger and does well in social situations. Her favorite topic is all things surrounding food, so we recommend feeding her any type of high value treat in her kennel.

Sweets doesn’t always appreciate little hands in her mouth and would prefer a home with older kids to prevent any unintentional accidents. She loves to pick things up with no intentions of chewing, just of transporting them to you. One of our first interactions with Sweets included her bringing one of the GRRF volunteers her phone from across the room.

Although she isn’t opposed to cardio, she prefers to spend her nights catching up on all the latest and greatest Netflix shows with you, snuggled up on the couch. If you’d like to meet Sweets, please apply!
