5 yr old Lab Mix

Jack is a gentle giant who loves to be outside no matter the season. At a whopping 103 pounds, he enjoys skijoring and hiking. Jack has moved around quite a bit in his lifetime and is looking for a furever home. He came to us as an owner surrender because the previous family felt they could no longer provide him with the time he deserved.

Jack still plays like a young pup and is looking for a home that can exercise him. He can be shy when first meeting new human and dog friends, so proper introductions will be crucial for his success. When left alone in his previous home, he was not kenneled and was trusted to be left out without incident. Our tall friend does have a naughty habit of digging and should not be left outside for extended periods of time without supervision.

Jack does know basic commands, but we recommend that he be taken through a Basic Obedience Class with his new family to brush up on his skill set.

After a routine check up, it was identified that Jack would benefit from hip surgery. He will need time to recover and rebuild his strength before his next adventure skijoring or hiking.
