Dugen!
1-year-old male cocker spaniel poodle mix!
Dugen was surrendered to GRRF after his family was unable to continue to care for him.
Unfortunately Dugen did not have a great start to life. Because of some of the methods used in his 1st home, Dugen can struggle with some general anxiety in new situations with new people and dogs. He warms up with just a bit of time and patience! Once he knows you’re safe, you're sure to be smothered with cuddles!
Since joining us, Dugen has been an absolute joy to have around! He is potty-trained and getting the hang of crate training. He is currently being fostered with 3 other female dogs and a kitty cat friend! He enjoys the company of these furry friends but definitely prefers a female partner in crime over a male. Dugen is still a young one and will definitely need some help from his people to show him the ropes of basic obedience. We are recommending his new family enroll in a class to help build up his skill toolbox and create a strong and healthy working relationship!
Though Dugen is an active dog who is more than willing to join in on the fun adventures that Alaska has to offer, his absolute favorite thing to do is cuddling on the couch! His ideal home has a furry girlfriend to play with, goes on semi-regular dog friendly activities, and has plenty of space on the couch for him! If this sounds like your home and you’re looking for a fluffy companion, consider adopting Dugen!
