Arlo!

5 year-old male golden retriever!

Arlo is a big ole, goofy golden man! Arlo was surrendered to GRRF due to no fault of his own. His family was no longer able to provide him the level of care they knew he deserved.

Since being with us, Arlo has been nothing short of a good time! He can be a bit awkward around other male dogs at first but his desire to play quickly overcomes any tension. Arlo absolutely loves playing with other dogs and would love some furry friends in his new home! Like most goldens, Arlo adores human attention. He likes to be near his humans whenever possible and doesn’t mind a chill night so long as it is time spent with the people he loves! Arlo did grow up around kiddos and did fine with them but he definitely prefers a home with kids 7 and older.

Arlo is best described as a ball of goofiness. His personality resembles something close to a young jock who is oblivious to the world around him. Arlo is potty-trained, kennel trained, and does well in the home unsupervised. He knows some basic obedience but wouldn’t mind polishing up his skills alongside his family in a class setting.

Arlo dreams big! His dream home would have at least 1000 tennis balls, unlimited human attention, and all the yummy treats fully stocked at all times. We believe Arlo deserves the world but we bet he would settle for 5 balls, a few hours of human attention per day, and only a handful of treats.
